Since Albert Einstein all physicists try to include light in their research work. Of-course as a researcher, I thought about it once and decide against it. You know… I don’t like to stress much about anything. Nanotechnology is a growing field as we all know. Due to the advances in these fields , in a few decades to come, we will enjoy reduced cost and reduced size luxury life.
LED (light Emitting Diodes) is the sources of light energy which directly converts electrical energy into light unlike incandescent bulbs. It is proven that the efficiency of the LED can be improved using QD-Quantum Dots. QD (combines advanced spectroscopy and Nanotechnology) are semiconductor materials which are recently engineered Nanotechnology by Los Alamos National Laboratory. QD-LEDs have improved efficiency over conventional LEDs. Source: Eureka Alerts
Another improvement in utilization of light is in measuring glucose level in blood by a team of German researchers. They published a new method in the current edition of Review of Scientific Instruments which includes measuring the skin glucose level; directly related to blood glucose. By passing a beam of laser light on top of skin (without pricking and pain) the glucose level under the skin can be measured.
A classical computer has a memory made up of bits, where each bit is represented by either a one or a zero. A quantum computer, on the other hand, maintains a sequence of qubits, which can represent a one, a zero, or any quantum superposition of those two qubit states;

Speaking of Quantum Dots, quantum computing has also promised us a new trend for computing. This quantum computing will allow our artificially intelligent robots or computers to take decisions irrationally or emotionally. Computers of this day can take only binary decisions like Yes or No but qbits will allow the computer decide a place between yes or no, which is the ultimate gift only we humans have.
Human beings are the only species on this planet which can decide under emotional pressures. Do you think its okay for a computer to take your place emotionally too?
